Jemima’s Gift is delighted to be sponsoring The Snow Child, a beautiful live show at The Rondo Theatre, this Christmas. The show is interactive, multi-sensory and inclusive. It will feature Makaton in all performances and there will be specific British Sign Language performances as well as more relaxed shows where movement and noise within the audience will be perfectly acceptable. There will also be “Big Scream” events catering for families with very young children.
Butterfly Psyche Theatre approached us for help to improve access to their performances for families who have children with additional needs. We will be providing funding for a “breakout space” to provide a comfortable oasis of calm during performances, this will enable anyone who feels overwhelmed by what is happening on stage to take some time to relax outside the main auditorium, together with iPads to enhance the experience of the children using the space.
The exciting news is that we have 2 sets of Family Tickets to give away and will be awarding these as prizes at the Strings Incognito concert next Sunday afternoon, at Calne Town Hall. Come along at 2pm and do some colouring during the music for your chance to win!
