Jemima’s Gift helps children with special needs to learn to swim

singlechildBST_logo1We are delighted to be able to support Bath Swim Therapy in their bid to continue their invaluable work with children and their families as they learn to swim together. These are children who would not normally be able to take part in swimming lessons, for a variety of reasons.

One of the most successful outcomes for these families is the ability to go swimming together in a public pool, which they would not have had the confidence to do prior to the therapy sessions.

Do have a look at their website to see the amazing progress made by the organisation and the children they teach http://www.bathswimtherapy.org.uk/about.html

Bath Swim Therapy is hoping to secure National Lottery funding from January to enable this work to continue long-term. In the meantime Jemima’s Gift has pledged the support to ensure sessions in Chippenham for “Splashers” and “Get Wet Set” can take place in the autumn term, and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to do so.
